Heart Function Clinic

The Heart Function Clinic at St Paul’s was launched in 1999. The main role of the Heart Function Clinic is to see patients diagnosed with heart failure. Patients from across BC are referred to our team for assessment, education and treatment for their illness.

The goals of the clinic are:

1. To ensure that patients with heart failure get  the best possible treatments based on the latest research information.

2. To help patients understand their illness and how to cope  with it at home.

3. To be involved in research to help heart failure specialists learn more about the disease.

4. To be connected to other Heart Function Clinics across the country.

If you feel you or a family member should visit the heart function clinic, you must get a referral from your GP. Click here to be redirected to a list of referrals on the Heart Centre website.

Hours:
The Heart Function Clinic operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 3pm. Clinic visits are usually scheduled on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
