Sandra received her nursing diploma from Camosun College in 1984, a BSN from UBC in 1992 and a Master of Health Administration degree from UBC in 2003. Sandra joined St Paul's in 1989 as a staff nurse in ICU. Since 1992 she had held various leadership roles in the Heart Centre including Head Nurse, Coordinator - Healthy Heart, and Patient Care Leader. She has been the Program Director of the Heart Centre since 2004. Sandra is passionate about the work of the Heart Centre and credits every successful initiative as a team effort.
