Jian Ye is an active staff cardiovascular surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery of the University of British Columbia. His special clinical interests include surgical repair of diseased heart valves, minimally invasive (off-pump) valve implantation, off-pump coronary artery bypass, and aortic surgery. Jian is also an independent researcher, who has been a CIHR and HSF grantee since 1996. He is currently a Director of Basic Cardiac Surgery Research.
