Clinical Nurse Specialist, Heart Failure/Transplantation

Annemarie completed her nursing training in Sydney Australia, specializing in cardiothoracic nursing.  She worked as Clinical Nurse Consultant and Transplant Coordinator for the Heart Lung Transplant Program in Sydney for 13 years.  Annemarie has worked at St Paul’s Hospital in the Heart Centre in her current position since 2001.  She obtained her Master’s degree in 2002.

Annemarie’s role encompasses many aspects of advanced practice nursing ranging from program development, research, education and clinical case management of complex patients with heart failure, mechanical cardiac assist devices and transplant recipients.
