After receiving a Diploma in Nursing from the Foothills Hospital School of Nursing, she began her career in cardiac nursing at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas Texas. She completed a BScN at the University of British Columbia in 2000 after moving to Vancouver.  Gina began her career at St. Paul’s Hospital in 1997 as a staff nurse in the CSICU and most recently as Nurse Educator in the CSICU.  Gina is actively involved in community and social issues and has had the opportunity to work as a community nurse in Africa.
